In an official advisory released on Monday, the Indian Embassy in Tehran urged Indian nationals to use available transport options, including commercial flights, to exit Iran at the earliest opportunity.
According to official estimates, around 10,000 Indian citizens are usually present in Iran for purposes such as business, education, pilgrimage, and employment.

In a separate incident, one person lost his life and several others remain missing after a migrant boat capsized on the Croatia-Bosnia border early Monday morning.
